Fabulous event between KUIS students and Reitaku University students

The interesting collaboration held at Reitaku University in Kashiwa City. English Speaking Society (for shorten name, E.S.S.) in KUIS and Reitaku University had associated event of their activities. E.S.S. club theme is to make good relationship with others using English and also to skill up English level. This collaboration event held two times a year, usually once a semester. The activities of two E.S.S. clubs are mini debate, role-play act according to set topic and some other activities.

In this event, both of E.S.S. clubs had three projects. The lists bellows are some of the projects, which I was interested in.

*Small debate – Making pairs to discuss about topic. For example, “By using time machine, which do you want to go to the past, or future?”

*Practice for Special Occasion – Acting the set situation, for example, there was the word ”Shikataganai”.

*Detective game – There is one murder case in British and Scotland Yard found out there are three peoples who seem to be suspect. Suspect is American and the students have to find out who is murder by affirmation differences of using American English and British English (the murder try to make affirmation to British English from American English).

Those were lists of some activities done by two E.S.S. clubs. Since the theme of this club is make good friendship and develop English skills, those activities were good for those goals. I was enjoyed this event to make friendship with outside of KUIS and for my English skill development.
